Definition
Wiswás
noun · اسم

From the Arabic word وسواس (waswās) — meaning whisper, inner voice, doubt, or persistent thought. In modern usage, Wiswás evokes the constant dialogue inside people and societies: the thoughts we hesitate to say out loud, the questions that shape us, and the tension between fear, truth, and change.

Why now

Why Wiswás exists

Wiswás is a civic initiative focused on restoring credibility, the rule of law, and the future of Lebanon's middle class. The poor get aid, the rich get richer — and the middle class? They carry the perpetual concerns of a country in collapse, asking the same question every day: what will become of us?

Hope & action are the antidotes

"From anxious waswising to focused action. Hope is an act."

Our Strategy: Target & Tool

The Target

The Banking Ponzi File

The single file that weakens the largest share of the ruling cartel — because they own 43% of the banks and moved billions out of Lebanon.

The Tool

DSAP

The Depositors' Strategic Action Plan: a scientific, battle-ready template for civic resistance and financial justice. Illicit capital is a crime, not a deposit.
